Ghuguni is a popular dish from Odisha made from dried peas, potato, and horse gram powder. The peas are soaked overnight and added to a gravy with coconut, ginger, garlic, cumin, tamarind, and cilantro. Ghuguni is often served with puffed rice, onion pakoda, or dhuska, a fermented rice-lentil dish.
